This lesson video teaches Quadruped Shoulder CARs - a foundational drill for controlling the glenohumeral (GH) joint through its full workspace: flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, and internal/external rotation. The goal isn’t the biggest circle - it’s clean control through your available range, with fluid transitions and minimal compensation from the ribs, spine, neck, and scapula. This variation is especially useful for exposing additional common compensation patterns so you can spot and remove them. We also use a tennis ball squeeze in the hand to create internal tension through the arm and shoulder, helping you stay connected and more stable as you move.
