This lesson video teaches Standing Patella CARs - a technique to help the patella (kneecap) glide more freely over the knee. The patella doesn’t rotate on its own, so this drill uses gentle, intentional finger guidance to “massage and steer” the kneecap through its available glide. It can feel tricky at first because you need to achieve terminal knee extension to make the movement clean and effective. Done with patience and control, Patella CARs can be a useful input for improving knee comfort, awareness, and overall knee mechanics.

Side-lying Hip CARs
This lesson video covers Side-lying Hip CARs - an accessible variation that removes the balance challenge so you can focus purely on hip control. The objective is to move the hip through its workspace - flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, and internal/external rotation - while keeping the m...

Standing Shoulder CARs
This lesson video teaches Standing Shoulder CARs - a foundational drill for controlling the glenohumeral (GH) joint through its full workspace: flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, and internal/external rotation. The focus is on fluid transitions between positions while actively eliminating ...

Tall-Kneeling Neck CARs
This lesson video covers Tall-Kneeling Neck CARs - a neck CARs variation designed to build controlled cervical movement through flexion, extension, and smooth rotation, without borrowing motion from the shoulders, ribs, or thoracic spine. In this version we add a simple constraint: squeezing a bl...
