This lesson video teaches Quadruped Shoulder CARs - a foundational drill for controlling the glenohumeral (GH) joint through its full workspace: flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, and internal/external rotation. The goal isn’t the biggest circle - it’s clean control through your available range, with fluid transitions and minimal compensation from the ribs, spine, neck, and scapula. This variation is especially useful for exposing additional common compensation patterns so you can spot and remove them. We also use a tennis ball squeeze in the hand to create internal tension through the arm and shoulder, helping you stay connected and more stable as you move.

Quadruped Scap CARs (Wide)
This lesson video teaches Quadruped Scap CARs with a wider hand position - a simple tweak that makes scapular control noticeably harder than the standard quadruped setup. By widening the base, you’ll often feel the body want to cheat with the elbows, ribs, or torso shift. The objective is to keep...

Quadruped Scap CARs
This lesson video teaches Quadruped Scap CARs in the standard hand-width position - the go-to setup for learning clean scapular control. The objective is to move the scapulae intentionally through protraction, retraction, elevation, and depression, creating smooth glide around the ribcage while k...

Knee Capsule CARs
This lesson video covers Knee Capsule CARs - a prep drill used to prime the knee before deeper rotational work. The objective is to teach how knee rotation changes depending on position: you’ll explore the different degrees of available rotation in flexion vs extension, and learn what that should...
